Josh Robinson comes to Kyoto from San Diego, California where he was a high school IB English Teacher. The growth and technical refinement promised by the Kenshusei program appeals to him as it is the greatest challenge he’s faced in his martial arts career. The pursuit of developing congruence between body, mind, and spirit for the purpose of peacefully resolving conflict is idealistically aligned with the principles Josh seeks to cultivate in his personal and professional life. Josh expects that honing his physical and mental expressions of this purpose through intense training will prepare him to better facilitate learning experiences for others which emphasize these same guiding principles.
